Authenticity
I aim to be real and transparent, grounded in my values, open about my strengths and limits, and committed to genuine connection.

Although I never faced serious financial hardship, I have always had an uneasy relationship with money. It made me feel anxious, confused and honestly, incredibly bored. My mind would switch off the moment I had to think about finances.
That began to change a few years ago when a financial advisor gave me an exercise exploring my relationship with money. It opened my eyes to something powerful: there is a whole psychology behind how we relate to money.
The more I looked into it, the more I realised: it is our internal relationship with money that drives so many of our financial challenges. This relationship develops over a lifetime, shaped by family, culture and experience – and can lead to deeply ingrained patterns that keep us stuck. That is why solutions like pricing tools, business advice, or even financial coaching often are not enough. Real change starts from within.
As a clinical psychologist, I realised I had something unique to offer: years of training and experience helping people shift entrenched emotional patterns and build more meaningful, fulfilling lives.
I founded The Money Psychologist in 2024 to bring that expertise into the world of money. My mission is to help you do the deeper inner work that creates a calmer, more empowered relationship with money, so you can make confident, values-aligned financial choices in both your business and personal life.
Because when helping professionals are financially well resourced, they do not just build sustainable practices; they help protect diversity, ethics, creativity, and trusted, relationship-based services in a marketplace increasingly shaped by large platforms, commercial scale, and profit-first models
To support this work, I’ve created a range of offers: my Reflective Workshops, Deep Dives, and Small Groups. I will continue expanding on these in dialogue with my clients, shaped by their evolving needs and priorities.
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from King’s College London (IoPPN), a Master’s in Research Methods in Psychology from University College London, and a degree in Psychology from the University of Exeter. I’m registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

I spent nearly 20 years working in the NHS, mostly in secondary care and trauma services supporting people with complex psychological difficulties. Today, alongside The Money Psychologist, I run a small private practice in London. I specialise in attachment-focused and relational approaches to therapy that help people understand how past experiences shape present patterns.
Beyond therapy, my clinical psychology career has included providing supervision and training to other healthcare professionals, teaching at university level, consulting with organisations, developing and managing services, and conducting research. I have a particular interest in thinking systemically, looking not just at individual challenges, but also at broader community and institutional factors. A strong foundation in ethics, legal frameworks, and regulatory standards has always been central to my practice.
This diverse background allows me to bring a wealth of clinical knowledge and professional experience to the Psychology of Money. And as my interest in this field grew, I began reading widely, speaking with other professionals and seeking out training, including as an online course with the Financial Therapy Association in the US.
This diverse background allows me to bring a wealth of clinical knowledge and professional experience to exploring the Psychology of Money.
