You Care Deeply About Your Work But Money Feels Like a Struggle

In both our business and day-to-day work, it is often the emotions linked to money that drive decisions, shape boundaries and influence relationships.

Maybe you feel guilty about charging what your work is worth. Maybe you avoid chasing cancellation fees or feel uncomfortable discussing money with clients. Or maybe you have tried to “think more positively” about money but still feel frustrated.

We tend to navigate this on autopilot without space to reflect or talk about it. And it can leave us feeling alone. Over time, this can make your work feel heavier, and less enjoyable. What once felt meaningful can start to feel emotionally draining.

You are not the only one. And you do not have to make sense of it alone. That is why I created these workshops.

A Space to Pause, Reflect, and Shift What Is Not Working

As a clinical psychologist and self-employed practitioner, I understand the emotional complexities around money. I have seen them show up in supervision spaces, peer discussions and professional networks, as well as in my own business decisions. These patterns need more than mindset work to shift; they require deeper exploration and committed action.

My Workshops offer a psychologically informed space to:

  • Explore your personal relationship with money and the story behind it
  • Understand how cultural, systemic, and familial factors shape financial patterns
  • Challenge ingrained assumptions and open up new perspectives
  • Develop the confidence to have open, values-led conversations about money with clients and within your networks
  • Step into your value, charge what you are worth, and build a practice that sustains you emotionally and financially
  • Claim your space in an increasingly commodified marketplace, so clients can benefit from your unique contributions

What can shift

Before

  • You feel unsure about money-related decisions
  • You hesitate to enforce cancellation fees or charge at the upper end of your market range
  • You avoid or dread financial conversations with clients
  • You undervalue yourself, your work, and the practice you have built
  • You struggle to grow, invest, or innovate because you are stuck in survival mode
  • You feel taken advantage of when clients negotiate fees or ignore payment boundaries
  • You feel drained and unmotivated by the emotional weight of money stress
  • You are faced with income gaps that push you into longer hours and limit your personal lifestyle goals

After

  • You understand the psychology behind your money patterns
  • You approach your money beliefs with more clarity and critical thinking
  • You manage feelings like guilt or anxiety with greater confidence and self-awareness
  • You feel less alone and begin having open money conversations with peers and clients
  • You uphold boundaries that strengthen mutual respect and protect your time and energy
  • You feel empowered to manage money in a way that honours your worth and keeps you motivated
  • You begin to close income gaps, building the stability to invest in your business and lifestyle
  • You hold your ground in the marketplace, making your contribution visible and valued

  • Emotionally Informed and Ethically Aware
These spaces respect the emotional complexity of money and the professional responsibilities you hold.
